For over 62 years Roeming has been serving industry.

Carl and Audrey Roeming started Roeming Industrial Sales in 1955 as industrial distributors. When their children, Sandy and David, were growing up, the children helped out with the business and learned what it was all about.

In 1974 they moved from their location on 3rd and Wells to a larger location in Brown Deer, WI. Carl passed on shortly after the move, David came home from college for a few months to help Audrey and Sandy, who had started working full time at the company in 1975. After completing college, David began working full time in 1977, and shortly after, Brian Schumaker, Sandy's husband, and Mary Roeming, David's wife, both started working full time in 1979.

By 1984, the business had grown too large for the Brown Deer location. Roeming had increased in volume with distribution products and had added an industrial sewing division by this time. The business moved to its current building in Mequon, Wisconsin off of Port Washington Road and added on an additional warehouse in 1995 to cover further increases in production.

Sadly, Audrey passed on in 1997, but Sandra and David took on the ownership and kept Roeming on a growing path. In 2005, David Roeming passed on, too, yet despite the deaths of family members - Sandy and Mary remained at the helm of a great family business success story. They changed the status of the company to a certified Woman owned business. Also, the name was formally changed to Roeming Industries, Incorporated to better reflect its diversity. Daniel Roeming and Greg Schumaker both joined the company after completing college and now mark the 3rd generation engaged in the business. Daniel left Roeming to devote himself fully to his Real Estate business, but his customers are finding their needs still being met.
